Van Vicker Stops Shooting His Own Movie For Glo Advert In South-Africa

Last week, Ghanaian sexy actor, producer and director, Van Vicker addressed a section of the media and he revealed to them that, he’s preparing to shoot his new movie titled ‘1800’ which has to do with slave trade.

In his submission, he said that he believes it’s about time Ghanaian/African filmmakers invest in shooting true but untold historic stories, so that the world can know some of Africa’s interesting past.

At the briefing, he stated that he believes 2014 is going to be a very successful year for the industry to improve. “My major and probably only resolution for 2014 is to be more God fearing” Van added.

Just after the press briefing, he send a short notice to the media that he has put his slave trade movie on hold because he has to travel to South Africa to shoot an advert for telecommunication giant Glo.

Van Vicker, who picked the Pan African actor of the year award in the just ended 2013 Cameroon Movie Awards, lamented that his shooting schedule jarred because of the Glo advert, and so he has to re-schedule another date for the shoot; which is going to be ending of February because from South Africa, they will be going to USA for another project.

Talking about the Glo advert, he stated that he’s currently not aware which stars he’s going to shoot with but he can say with confidence that stars like Desmond Elliot, Flavor, Ini etc. will be joining him. Van will be going with his wife. The budget for the shoot is estimated to be $million.
