Tigo Launches 2015 Unplugged Concert

All roads will lead to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Saturday, November 28, when Tigo thrills Ghanaians to the one of the biggest concerts of 2015 dubbed ‘Tigo Music Unplugged’.

Viewed as the concert which brings the best of talents under one umbrella, ‘Tigo Unplugged’ from its record, promises a night of fun and entertainment.

Artistes for this year’s event will include Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, VVIP, Kwaw Kese, E.L, Keche and MzVee.

Nigerian Afro dancehall musician, Patoranking, is also expected to thrill fans with his best hit songs.

Tigo’s love for music is evident in how they have supported several concerts in the past.

The concert would also be used to celebrate the first anniversary of Tigo music with customers ahead of Christmas.

The much-expected concert would give customers the chance to see Ghana’s top music talents perform their favourite hit songs.

Speaking at the launch in Accra on Thursday, Jesse Agyepong, Director of Marketing at Tigo, said, ‘We made a huge impact on the music industry last year with the launch of our partnership with Deezer, the music streaming service.

He said Tigo Music last year won the Most Innovative Product of the Year at the Ghana Telecom Awards, which shows how relevant and insight-driven the Tigo music brand has become.

Mr Agyepong explained that the event is targeted at all Tigo customers, adding, ‘We will continue to be part of the music industry because we believe that music delivers a great brand experience. We urge our customers to join us at the Baba Yara Stadium for a fun-filled concert.’
