Live FM presenter, Giovanni Caleb, has called for support for Ghana’s growing beauty and spa industry.

According to him, celebs and the general public should endeavour to patronise local beauty and spa services instead of only engaging in such services when they travel outside of the country.

Speaking at the opening of a new spa called Bidis Beauty & Day Spa over the weekend, Giovanni mentioned that Ghanaian beauty and spa services are equally good as their counterparts overseas, hence Ghanaians should take advantage of it.

“Bidis is about to take Accra by storm. For those of you who are used to travelling out of Accra or Ghana for spa treatment please save the money. Save the cedis,” he added.

Bidis Beauty & Day Spa was opened last Saturday to cater for the increasing numbers of person who care about their looks. Located at West Legon adjacent Albans International School, it is poised to make a difference in Ghana’s burgeoning beauty industry.

It will be offering most excellent services in bridal dressing, facial, nails, hair fixing, eye lash fixing, eye brow shaping, massage, pedicure and manicure.

It is open to all and beyond the different treatments and therapies in different treatment rooms; it’s a fully stocked beauty shop which will offer different product choices for clientele.

Management is also into event planning, décor and a lot of other activities.

The opening ceremony was attended by dignitaries like Rev Macdonald Essandoh, ACP (rtd) Augustine Korku, Chief Pharmacist of Ghana Police Service, Christina Amoako-Nuamah, a former minister under ex-President J.J. Rawlings and others.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bidis Beauty & Day Spa, Diana Mamle Bansah, assured prospective clients of excellent services.
