Sufi Cleric Calls On Swiss Envoy

A leading Sufi and member of the Tijaniyya sect in Ghana Sheikh Abul-Faidi Abdulai Maikano recently paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of Switzerland to Ghana, Togo and Benin, Gerhard Brugger at his office in Accra.

The envoy pointed out that his country does not segregate between the two main religions.

Sheikh Abul-Faidi Abdulai Maikano used the opportunity to invite him to this year’s celebration of the life of Sheikh Tijani, the founder of the sect slated from 20-21 November, 2015 at Prang in the Brong Ahafo region.

The delegation included Sheikh Tahiru Saeed, Abubakr Baban Yara, Abdul Manani and Muhammed Muhtari Ibrahim, among others.
