Queenie Sex Vibrator In Court

State prosecutors in the trial of Queenie Akuffo, the lady accused of sexually assaulting a co-tenant with a vibrator at Ablekuma, a suburb of Accra, are set to tender the object she purportedly used in court.

According to the prosecution led by Detective Inspector Judith B. Asante, the object, currently in the exhibition room at the Ablekuma police station, would be tendered in evidence.

The indication by the prosecution follows the evidence of 13-year-old Elizabeth Amoakwa, who insists that Queenie asked her to help her (Queenie) look for a certain pointed edge object in her room.

Although the witness stated that she did not know the name of the object, she was emphatic that she saw Queenie inserting it into the vagina of her sister, 22-year-old Janet Amankwah.

Elizabeth, who in her evidence said that she knows Queenie in person but not her character, indicated that her sister was drunk, helpless and lying on the bed in the room of the accused when she (accused) inserted the object into her private part.

Elizabeth, a Class-Five pupil in Accra, further told the court, presided over by Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku, that Queenie asked her to go to the hall immediately she gave the said object to her.

The witness said her mother and one Comfort came looking for Janet but the accused said she was asleep and that they should go and return later but they opened the door of Queenie and found Janet lying in a supine position on the bed of the accused.

Cross-examining Elizabeth, Andrew Vortia, lawyer for the accused, was of the view that the witness had been coached on what to tell the court.

He said the witness ought to identify the supposed object to test her credibility as a truthful witness.

Vortia, among other things, stated that the witness could not say that her sister does not drink alcohol, a claim she denied.

Sitting continues on March 29, 2016.
Queenie is standing trial charged with unnatural carnal knowledge, and is currently on a GH¢40,000 bail with three sureties.

.
Queenie allegedly committed the act at about 6pm on January 25, this year at Ablekuma in Accra where she and Janet Amankwah reside.

According to the prosecution, Queenie asked other witnesses around to leave and she locked her bedroom but a 13-year-old witness went to peep through the window of Queenie and saw her inserting the artificial penis into the victim’s vagina.

The victim’s brother, one Nana Sasu, saw the act and alerted her mother (the complainant).

They rushed to the aid of the victim and saw her lying naked in Queenie’s bedroom with vomit all over her.

The artificial penis was found on top of the accused person’s wardrobe while a video recording of the act was also found on Queenie’s Infinix@ mobile phone.

Queenie, in her caution statement to the police, admitted the offence.
