My 75% winning margin is already guaranteed – Kwame Dzotoko

NDC parliamentary aspirant in Tarkwa Nsuem constituency of the Western region, Kwame Dzokoto has maintained problems facing the conduct of the polls will in no way affect his 75% winning margin.

The NDC man is admitting that the plan to grant every card-bearing NDC member a vote in the parliamentary and presidential primaries is likely to be fraught with challenges.

The novel process is being hailed as a democratic milestone in the conduct of party primaries not only in Ghana but in Africa.

A little less than 2.1 million card-bearing members of the NDC are voting in over 8,000 polling centres across the country.

But complaints have been pouring in as several names of supporters have not been found in the biometric register.

In some constituencies, the primaries have been postponed

But Mr. Dzokoto wants party supporters to accept the problems encountered in the process of voting.

Kwame Dzokoto
“It is the first of its kind…we should accept it”

But the popular entertainer is unperturbed and remains unfazed that his supporters may be affected and his chances threatened.

“No matter how the data [turns out] I will still win”

His confidence is rooted in his campaign message during his tour of the constituency.

“The message has sunk well, we are sure of winning”, his confidence was unquenchable.

He is up against Joseph Otchere; a straight duel he believes is a done deal for him.
