Man Killed At Magazine

An Unnamed man suspected to be the driver of a tipper truck got killed in a bizarre circumstance at about 4:30 pm on Monday, February 2 at the Zone 21 of the Suame Magazine in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital.

The deceased, believed to be in his 30s met his untimely death after being crashed underneath the double bucket of the truck with registration number GS 1294 – 11 where he had entered to fix a fault.

An eyewitness who gave his name only as Yaw said the driver might have been sent by the owner of the vehicle who had just bought it to take it away to another place.

He claimed that the deceased detected a fault and so he decided to fix it but shortly after he had raised the bucket, it came down on him, smashing him to death instantly.

The death of the unidentified man sent the heads of many artisans wagging in bewilderment, wondering how he could die in such a brutal manner.

Minutes after the incident, the Suame Police were called in to remove the body and look into the circumstances leading to the driver’s demise
