Mahama set for ‘World Bank’ visit in Ho; mammoth rally beckons

President John Mahama is set to crown a nationwide changing lives tour with a visit to the Volta Region, Wednesday.

A mammoth rally is expected to be organised at his behest at the Regional Capital, Ho, Thursday.

Deputy General Secretary of the Koku Anyidoho revealed these in an interview with Joy News, Tuesday.

Anyidoho said the president will however visit Krachi and Jasikan before finally making the trip to Ho for the mammoth rally which will underline the region’s credentials as truly the world bank of the region.

While in Ho he is also expected to commission the University of Health and Allied Sciences main campus.

The president is expected to come to Krachi, Jasikan and then hops to Ho tomorrow afternoon where we are hoping to give him a tumultuous and a strong welcome.

It is the turn of the region that he is appearing in before his endorsement on Saturday and we are very much ready for his arrival.

“On Thursday he will meet the House of Chiefs… and then there will be that mammoth rally on Thursday that will reposition Volta Region as the World Bank of the party and send a strong message that we are united for victory in 2016,” he said.

The changing lives tour has taken the president to the Northern Regions, Eastern and Ashanti Region. His tour of Accra was not without controversy after he hit back at the opposition New Patriotic Party for describing him as an incompetent president.
