Mahama nominates Judgment Commissioner to Supreme Court

President John Mahama has nominated the Sole Commissioner on Judgment Debts, Justice Yaw Apau to the highest court of the land, the Supreme Court.

He also nominated former General Secretary of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Mr. Gabriel Pwamang, to the court.

Speaker of Parliament Edward Doe Adjaho announced this in Parliament Tuesday morning.

Parliamentary correspondent, Elton John Brobbey reported the Appointments Committee of Parliament will now invite the nominees and vet them.

It is after vetting that the House will determine whether the nominees qualify to be appointed to the Supreme Court.
