Let’s Consolidate Rise And Build Tour – Osei-Ameyaw

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Asuogyaman, Kofi Osei-Ameyaw, has called on all parliamentary candidates of the party, the constituency as well as the regional executives, to consolidate the gains made through the ‘Rise and Build’ tour of the flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, by focusing more on membership recruitment drive.

“Let’s forget about the noise being made by the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and get down to the polling stations and explain the philosophy and aim of the party to the constituents to be able to register people who are willing to join the party, especially prospective first-time voters,” he urged.

“Our parliamentary candidates must show a lot of resolve together with the constituency executives to win their seats convincingly and with wider margins for the party,” he entreated, adding that working hard on the membership recruitment drive at the polling stations would give the party the needed victory in the 2016 general elections.

Speaking to the DAILY GUIDE, the Asuogyaman MP who also contested in the presidential primaries of the party, noted that the party had already developed a strategy that would defeat that of the NDC’s in terms of registration of new members.

“The NDC thinks it is ahead in terms of strategizing for the 2016 elections, but it doesn’t know that this time round we would be using tested scientific approach to counteract all its plans towards the 2016 general elections,” the Asuogyaman MP said.

Mr Osei-Ameyaw said that the party hierarchy must use dialogue to resolve the seeming tension at the national level.
