Joy@The Mall; Junction Mall choked with Stars, patrons

There was unlimited joy at the Junction Mall at the Nungua Barrier in Accra over the weekend because Joy FM decided to pitch camp over there.

Right from Friday to Sunday all the stars at the Super Station made the Junction Mall their new station, shopping with those who came to shop; laughing with those who came to laugh; dancing with those who came purposely for that.

It was the Joy @ the Mall event, yet another great initiative from the Super Station meant to whip up interest in shopping at the Mall. And what a week end it turned out to be?

Doreen Andoh, Mamavi Owusu Aboagye, DJ Black, Lexis Bills, Kojo Yankson, Nhyira Addo, Edem Knight-Tay, Dela Aglanu, Philip Nai and many others made new friends and connected with old ones who only listen to them on radio.

It was a great sight to behold having the Programmes Director, Kofi Ansah doing a rap; Doreen doing the dance, Lexis and Nhyira doing the talk.

For most of the patrons it was Christmas in November with lots to buy, eat, drink and wear at give away prices while still enjoying the company of the Stars on radio and TV.

For Chelsea supporters it was misery for them as they watched in Nungua how Liverpool drowned them under the bridge in England. Lexis Bill, a traditional Chelsea fan, didn’t know what hit him but for the sake of the patrons at the Mall he had to smile all the way through.

Then on Sunday, the Royal Couple Nana Ansah Quao and his new wife Ohene Yire, Gifty Anti with a stool name of Awo Dansua left the glory of their palace and honeymoon to fraternize with patrons at the Mall.

It was Joy @ the Mall. Which Mall is next?
