I will sue anybody who links me to Woyome judgement debt saga – Sir John

Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) General Secretary, Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie has threatened to take legal action against any person who links him to the Woyome judgement debt saga.

Sir John as he is affectionately called said on Adom FM’s ‘Dwaso Nsem’ Friday any attempt to link him to the controversial saga is only a desperate attempt at equalisation by members of the NDC.

“I dare any NDC person who would repeat anywhere that I benefited from the Woyome Judgement debt cash that I will  institute legal action against that person because if I received anything from Woyome it was years before the judgement debt was paid the businessman…,” he said.

He explained that the last time he had any business with Mr Woyome was in 2004, and the judgment debt was paid to the NDC financier in 2010, six clear years later.

“Yes, I received a Rav 4 from him but that was in 2004 when I offered legal services to him…he also paid me cash as part of my legal fees…,” Sir John said.

He said all items he received from the beleaguered businessman were not offered in a vacuum but were offered according to the monetary value of the legal services he rendered.
