I will forever be a solo artiste; I won’t join Praye – Dr Cryme

Rapper Dr Cyrme believes he has been very successful as a solo artistes and plans to remain so – he has no plans of joining any music group in country.

His comments come on the back of a proposal made by hiplife grandpapa, Reggie Rockstone calling on him to consider joining the music group, Praye.

In an interview last week Reggie Rockstone recommended him as a perfect replacement for Choirmaster, who has also decided to concentrate on his music career as a solo artiste in spite of persistent calls on him by the other two members of the group, Praye Tintin and Tiatia not to leave the group.

But speaking on Daybreak Hitz (Showbiz Review) on Hitz FM with told KMJ, Dr. Cryme said he prefers to collaborate with the group but not to join them at the expense of his personal ambitions.

“Dr Cryme will forever be a solo artiste, it’s a blessing to be recognised to be the best replacement but since I started, I have been a solo artiste and individually, I am successful.”

The ‘Kill Me Shy’ singer however said he is honoured by the fact that Reggie Rockstone saw potentials in him and picked him as the best substitute for Choirmaster but stressed joining a group is contrary to his ambition as a musician.

Praye Tintin and Tiatia recently announced their comeback after splitting about three years ago but the third member of former Praye group, Praye Honeho, also known as Choirmaster, has insisted he has moved on and is concentrating on his solo career.

Born Darlington Kwasi Agyekum, Dr. Cryme said “My prayer is that Praye will come together as three because they are much stronger as a group but if it’s still me that will make the group grow I am ready for every collaboration.”
