I cannot be suspended more than one month -Paul Afoko fights

Suspended NPP National Chairman says the party’s constitution does not allow for the suspension of a national officer for more than one month.

At a press conference to rally support for his court action to overturn the decision of the party, Paul Afoko says Article 10 Clause 1-5 lays down the processes for removing an elected officer.

He was at pains to point out that the party’s constitution was violated in many respects.

Paul Afoko said the culture of silence was gradually creeping into the opposition party but he will not be cowed.

“I call upon all who love freedom to uphold our party’s constitution,” he said.
