Hon. Michael Preprah Steps Down In NDC Race


NDC aspiring Paliamentary candidate for Ahodwo Nhyiaso constituency of the Ashanti region, Hon Michael Kwadwo Peprah has stepped down from the race slated for November 21.

He has however declared his infringing support to Hon. Dr. Samuel Sarpong, former Ashanti regional minister.

According to Mr. Peprah, his intention to step down was to help unite party supporters and fight their common enemy, the NPP.

Speaking in an interview with Modern Ghana, the NDC parliamentary aspirant noted that, “Nhyieso is one of the constituencies in Ashanti region that the party has targeted to take the seat from the NPP.”I am not working for my interest alone, but for the party and the good people of Ghana “.

He emphasized that Hon. Dr. Samuel Sarpong has the capabilities and equally share his visions to support the youth at the area, hence the move.

Hon. Kwadwo Peprah Said his stepping down will help necessitate the unity needed among party supporters in the area to help achieve its purpose in the 2016 general elections.

He assured that the NDC target of one million votes in 2016 is achievable due to the projects President Mahama has done in the region.

He advised all aspirants to desist from the politics of insults and has urged all the delegate to vote for zealous candidates that can help push the party reach its expectations.
