Government apologises for error-ridden in Independence Day brochure

The Information Services Department, authors of the independent brochure that was plagued with errors has apologized for the unfortunate incident.

In a statement signed by Acting Director, Francis Kwarteng Arthur and copied to Joy News, the Department said it took full responsibility for the misrepresentations captured in the brochure.

However, the apology letter emailed to Joy News on March 7 was dated January 12, 2016, another error the ISD called to apologize for.

Organisers of the 59th Independence Celebration are being criticized for the grammatical, typographical and factual mistakes found in the official Independence brochure.

Tourism advocate, Pa John Bentsifi Dadson, says the errors in the official brochure of the 59th Independence Celebration are embarrassing and calls for answers.
