Some members of President Mahama’s family are said to have been involved in a minor accident Thursday morning.

They were part of a convoy heading to Ekumfi Otuam in the Central Region where President John was expected to commission one of 200 Community Schools.

The Toyota Land Cruiser vehicle on which the President’s family occupied was reported to have run into a Chrysler belonging to real estate developer called Nana Agyemang.

An eyewitness who is aide to Nana Agyemang told Adom FM his boss was on his way to Kasoa when the accident occurred.

According to him, a military man who he named as Benjamin Takyi alighted from the vehicle and pulled a gun accusing them of being the cause of the accident and threatened to shoot them.

The President’s family was quickly whisked into another vehicle, the eyewitness reported.
