Equatorial Guinea To Host AFCON 2015

Equatorial Guinea have been confirmed as the new host country for the 2015 African Nations Cup, replacing Morocco.

Morocco was stripped of hosting the Africa Cup of Nations and flung out of the competition after saying they wanted to postpone the tournament due to fears over the Ebola epidemic, the African Football Confederation (CAF) announced on Tuesday.

And CAF have finally decided on Equatorial Guinea as the new host of the African showpiece. A highly inspired Equatorial Guinea co-hosted the Afcon tournament with Gabon in 2012 and reached the last eight when they co-hosted the competition along with Gabon.

The venues for the tournament are Malabo,Bata,Ebeyeyin and Mongomo.
