Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra, Drolor Bosso Adamtey I, has called on 2013/2014 graduands not to give up on their ‘dreams’ during their 6th congregation and awards ceremony held at their forecourt of the administration block.

In a statement delivered by Drolor BossoOdamtey, “Today, you too have managed to subdue the temptation to quit and have tenaciously withstood academic pressures and have succeeded. Nothing beats failure like a try. And, it is only from the valley a hill looks like a mountain, never give up.”

“I must remind you, the graduating class of 2013/2014 that you are graduating at a time of unprecedented challenges and opportunities confronting humanity. It is a time that you, our proud graduands are expected to rise up to the occasion and make bold foot prints in the sands of time, by making a positive impact in your community and country at large. Everything around us is changing and be mindful that you are just one decision away from your destiny, purpose, call or goal, Mr Drolor cautioned.”

He further said, “The society awaits you, your community is looking up to you, and history beckons you to rise up the challenge and to make a difference in your chosen fields of endeavor. You will be judged in the distant future, not for your inactions, or for setting your sights too low, but for your actions, and the boldness of your dreams. Be encouraged. Let your mind and heart resists the temptation to stop or retreat in the face challenge, opposition, danger or hardship.”
