DCE And NPP MP Pledge To Collaborate For Development

The District Chief Executive, Nana Asare Bediako, and NPP Member of Parliament all in the Atwima Kwawonma Constituency of the Ashanti region have both pledged to join hands to fight for the development for their constituency.

They said, the collaboration will help promote the development needed in most less developed communities in their respective constituency, for good welfare for their people. Both honourables agreed the need to put aside political disburse and fight for development.

This was loud, when the two met at the commissioning of electrification project, new modern palace and the 5th anniversary of Amoaben community in the constituency.

The five years enstoolment of the new Amoaben community chief Nana chief, Nana Akwasi Asare Brempong has fought to completion of the entire community electrification, the community chief palace all with his own pocket money to promote the town.

Nana Kwasi Asare Brempong, in his remarks, thanks the people for their support to scheme his idea to seek development in the community.

He called on the entire community to continue offer their support to assist the chieftaincy initiatives.

Touching on the challenges, Nana mentioned that, ‘our roads network is our major challenge hindering our development in this community’.

He said, community after five years is growing in population, but still don’t have any school for their children.

‘The children walk several kilometres away to the next town sepase to school’, adding that, health center is another major challenge bordering the community.

He plead to both the DCE and the MP to turn their attention to the communities help combat with their challenges.

Speaking at the ceremony, the DCE Hon. Nana Asare Bediako applaud the chief for his kind gesture for development.

He promised to release the assembly grader to reshape the main road into the town and also to construct the llinkage network in the town. ‘ I will work together with the nonurable mp to make it work’. He stated.

However, the MP of the area hon. Anthony Osei in his speech agreed to work in hands with the DCE to seek the needed development for Amoaben community.

He added, that he will use his office as mp to make sure the ccommunity get the community school to start ad Nana requested. He also added, ‘the dce and my self are collaborating to get it done’.
