Create Opportunity For Youth Deputy Transport Minister Tells CFAO Ghana

The Deputy Minister of Transport, Joyce Bawa Mogtari, has expressed gratitude for the innovation of CFAO Ghana, but says investors in Ghana must give opportunities to the youth of Ghana to complement Government’s efforts at reducing unemployment in the country.

She was speaking at the launch of the Toyota Forklift, as the Special Guest of Honour. She gave the assurance that government will continue to create the right investment climate for businesses to thrive in Ghana.

CFAO Equipment, a specialized division of the CFAO Group, has introduced the Toyota Forklift to the Ghanaian market in partnership with Toyota Ghana, at a ceremony in Accra.

CFAO Equipment specializes in the distribution of high performance equipment. Officials of both companies emphasised the forklift is designed for optimum performance.

In his statement, Deputy Managing Director of CFAO Equipment Ghana Ltd, Alexis Mandrange, outlined the vision of his company as one that is working towards improving the quality of life in the communities in which they operate. This, he noted, is achieved by an active participation in the provision of infrastructural and industrial facilities.

On his part, the Managing Director of CFAO Equipment, Michel-Olivier Louis, indicated that the quality of the equipment, cannot be overemphasized. Toyota, he noted, is deeply committed to high quality products and services. These are the forces that drive all of CFAO’s products, including their handling equipment, he noted.

The CFAO group was established more than 150 years. It has however, been operating in Ghana since 1909. In 1913, the group launched its automobile distribution business in Africa. Over the subsequent three decades, CFAO expanded into industrial production, spreading into several French and English speaking countries in West and Central Africa.
