Citi FM, in partnership with EPP Books & Services, has donated reading materials and an electronic wheelchair to students and the founder of the Christ the King of Kings School in James Town, Accra.

This formed part of the station’s corporate social responsibility under the Citi Opportunity Project on Education (COPE), which is aimed at promoting education in deprived schools across the country.

According to the Administrative Executive for Citi FM, Priscilla Ackun-Mensah, the move was in response to an appeal made by the founder of the school to assist students with learning materials.

On his part, the Territorial Manager and Head of Public Relations for EPP Books, Mr Faisal Ibrahim Cisse, disclosed that the reading materials were worth GH¢20, 000.

Founder of the school, Emanuel Ashie Nii Quaye, who received the donation on behalf of the school, expressed gratitude to the donors and assured that the material would be put to good use.
