Challenges expected in this election year – Pastor

Fiapre (B/A), Jan. 7, GNA – Reverend Dr Moses Yeboah Asuamah, the Head Pastor of the Assemblies of God – Paradise Assembly, has said the November elections could pose a great challenge to Ghana.

He called on all especially politicians to be circumspect in their utterances and desist from insults and tribalism for a peaceful election.

Reverend Yeboah Asuamah said this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Fiapre, near Sunyani.

He said Ghanaians would have to proof to the world that the country is democratically strong and matured on the African continent and ‘we need to show to the world that political opponents are not enemies.’

Reverend Yeboah Asuamah, who doubles as the Brong Ahafo Regional Treasurer of the Assemblies of God – Ghana, said ‘we should all learn to agree to disagree on national issues for the betterment of Ghana, because it is our only homeland’.

‘When all stakeholders are allowed to function the way they should ,we shall have a credible election which would produce a worthy leader, accepted by all; let us, therefore, live and work in unity, in order to preserve the peace that the heavens has bestowed on us’ he said.
