The Black Meteors of Ghana are set to demand some outstanding bonuses owed by the government.

Ghanasportsonline.com’s checks however reveals that players of the Ghana U23 team are still owed some bonuses for qualifying for the 2015 All-Africa Games in Congo.

Players of the team have however decided to formally request for their outstanding bonuses despite failing to make it out of the Group stages of the competition.

This comes after the Black Queens engaged in a bonus row with the Sports Ministry after winning Gold at the multi-Sports competition.

The Queens had demanded for some outstanding bonuses owed by the ministry after clinching the ultimate in Congo, a decision which saw the team refusing to leave the M-plaza hotel at the expense of the government.

An intervention by His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama saw the ladies being paid off with $5,000 to each player.

The situation has however led players of the Ghana U23 team to also demand for their monies owed by the government.

Ghanasportsonline.com understands that the team is yet to receive their bonuses for qualifying for this year’s All-Africa Games.
