Benoni School Supports Rehabilitation Centre

Benoni Foundation School has made donation to the Salvation Army Rehabilitation Centre in Begoro in the Fanteakwa district as part of their 30th anniversary celebrations.

Items presented included bags of rice, eggs, foodstuffs, soaps, biscuits, milk, fruits, milk, toilet rolls, among others at a cost of one thousand cedis.

Headmaster of the school, Mr. Kwasi Frank, said his outfit has over the years helped the rehabilitation centre and emphasised this gesture was just in connection with the school’s annivesary celebrations.

“This is almost the tenth time we are donating to the centre and this shows the good relationship between us and the school” he said.

He, therefore, pledged their continious support to the centre at all times and also appealed to other stakeholders to come and support the centre.

Assistant Admnistrator of the Rehablitation centre, Mr. Raymond Kusi Badu, however, commended management of the school for their support and pledged to make sure the students benefit from the donation.

He advised the public to desist from neglecting those with disability since they are equally important as any other person.

“I am appealing to all to copy the good example of Benoni school to come and assist this school because it has been helpful to the people” he said.
