AUDIO: Adebayor Denies Sacking His Mother: Asks His Siblings To Work And Stop Doing JUJU

Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor, a Togolese footballer who also plays as a forward for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur has denied sacking his mother from his house as alleged by his family members.

One of the siblings of the Togolese star by name Maggie (Margaret) in an interview on PEACE POWER SPORTS, accused him of sacking their mother from his house with an allegation that she is a witch.

Apart from that she also accused him of neglecting the rest of his six siblings with no money to take care of themselves and their mother.

But in response to these accusations on the same platform, Adebayor said it was his mother who decided on her own to leave the house.

“Obviously I’m not a pastor, I am a footballer so I cannot point a witch…

“..I never sacked my mum from the house; she decided to leave the house…But how am I going to be in touch with my mum if my mum is the one telling everyone that my work will not go forward,so I will just be on my side and do my thing,” he bemoaned.

“They should stop talking talking, they should stop doing Juju on me; they should leave me alone…The one talking there and calling herself my sister I bought a house in East Legon for $1.2m…can you imagine that sister went to rent the house without my knowledge?” he told Dan Kwaku Yeboah in an exclusive interview.

According to the former Arsenal star for this issue to be resolved, he called them about a year ago when his brother died and told them to stop going to juju people and sit down at home.

“They don’t listen to me so I don’t know how to solve this now,” he added.

Responding to why he doesn’t take care of his siblings, he indicated that the rest of his siblings can work and take care of themselves including their mother and so “they should do that”.

” They should go and work,” he stated.

He told Peace FM that his family has already shared all the things he has worked for while he is still alive.

“The shared my houses, they shared my cars, they say if he dies this car is for you, this house is for you, can you imagine?”

He added that right now his family don’t need any money that is why he is not giving them anything and if the need arises he will willingly give them.

“It is not because they are going to radio talking that is why I’m going to give them something, if I want to give them I will give them, but at the moment they don’t need one pound from me.

“Obviously if they are saying I am not looking after my mother…we are seven, why can’t the rest do it?” he stated.

“I cannot go to my mum even today to sit down and eat, I’m sorry,” he told Peace FM.
