ASED Holds A 14-Day Power Packed Bible Lectures On The Them New Life In Christ


The Accra South-East District (ASED) of the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church is holding a 14-day power-packed Bible Lecturers on the theme ‘New Life in Christ’.

The Crusade which is underway at Agbleza, Teshie-Tsuibleoo in Accra began on Saturday 10th and ends on Saturday, 24th October, 2015.

It is also being attended each night from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.

The speaker for the Campaign, Pastor Emmanuel Samuel Thompson will take members of all the 11 Churches in the District and their invited guests through 14 Bible topics.

The topics under study are Living beyond tomorrow, The secret has already been revealed, Sleeping through the Siren, Good God, Bad World- Why?, How to find personal peace, Don’t be misled and Your Day in the Supreme Court’.

The rest are ‘Why our streets have become unsafe, Is God particular?, The Greatest religious cover-up, You can start life over again, One sin God can never forgive, Why so many denominations and Home at Last’.

Pastor Emmanuel Samuel Thompson at the opening of the Bible Lectures or Campaign or Crusade encouraged people to come and study about preparing for the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved:

“Tonight is to introduce you to the 14-day programme, to sing and glorify God. Friends, we want you to come because very soon, our Lord will come. We want you to come join us go home with Him because, we are tired of this world. God wants to have a new relationship with you. So I am inviting all friends and all people to come and listen”, he said.

The Accra South-East District Pastor further urged Ghanaians to fulfill their own responsibility towards their personal salvation.

“Friends, at the end of the 14 days, your life will never be the same again. Jesus wants to save you, but you must do something. You have to give your life to Christ first. Tonight, prepare to meet your Lord”, he said.

The first Elder of the District, Elder Edward Alabi encouraged people to come early and enjoy the side attractions of the 14-day campaign including good gospel music, health lectures, free health screening and free gospel CDs from the Advent Herald Singers.

“Aside the lectures, there is good gospel music, screening and gifts for all visitors. All are encouraged to come early by 5:30pm each evening to enjoy these before the lectures begin.

We also run a Bible Correspondence Course on 18 lessons known as the ‘Voice of Prophesy, VOP’ lessons, after which certificates are given. Visitors are to register every night so they can get their gifts,” Elder Edward Alabi explained.

Singing groups ministering at the Crusade include Advent Heralds, Blessed Paradise and The Yodels.
