Akwaboah, Lady May Collaborates On Lets Talk About Love

Ghanaian award-wining artiste, songwriter, and producer, Akwaboah has in interview with AmaLarbieAfrica, detailed his collaboration with Namibian rep at BBA season 7, Lady May on the song titled, ‘Let’s talk about love’.

The song, he indicated that it will be released in the latter part of the year.

The ‘I do love you’ singer had in a Facebook update on February 20 at 17:11GMT, hinted; “What’s next??? It’s a new song coming up… blend of Ghana and Namibia… sit tight.”

According to him, “I suggested this collaboration to Lady May when she came during her visit to Ghana last year, which she agreed. So, we actually met at Martino Cliks studio one night while she was still here and we made it happen before she left for Namibia.”

Adding, “All I had to do was doing the song here and get it to her in Namibia.”

On Akwaboah’s maiden international collaboration with the BBA Star Game housemate on ‘Let’s talk about love’; Lady May displays her singing prowess on the song as she blends her native language, Oshiwambo and English.

“Her blending of her native language and English makes ‘Let’s talk about Love’ very beautiful and nice,” Akwaboah commended.

Recorded in Martino Cliks Studio and produced by the ‘Medo’ singer; Akwaboah stated reasons for releasing the song in the latter part of the year, “because we are working on shooting the video to the song since it’s not only about Ghana and Namibia, but to the music audience in the entire African continents and the world.”

Managed by her self-owned record label, Crazy Lady May Records; the ‘Crazy Desires’ album owner, Lady May has songs including ‘Kamaali’ (2005); ‘Come And Get Me’ (2006); ‘Pink Chocolate’ (2009); ‘Tiger Ambitions’ (2010) and ‘I AM: African Goddess’ (2011 under Big Ear Records, SA).

Born Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah (Akwaboah) and Martha Namundjebo (Lady May); the two acts believes the song, ‘Let’s talk about love’ would be among the best songs this year.
