Agape House Church Cleans Up East Legon

Agape House New Testament Church organised a clean-up exercise in parts of East Legon, to help stem the tide of cholera and other hygiene-related ailments that have affected communities over the past few weeks.

The event, which coincided with National Sanitation Day, saw the members of the church cleaning selected streets and desilting choked gutters.

Speaking at the event, Rev. Richard C. Whitcomb, Senior Pastor at Agape House said ‘As residents and worshippers in East Legon, we believe we have an obligation to help keep our community clean. Part of our mission is to build a dynamic church that has a positive impact on the community. It is an honour for us to serve and help make a difference.’

Some Agape church members who participated in the clean-up got the chance to win fantastic prizes including the Golden Shovel Awards for the best participants and a tablet that was raffled as part of the event.

Agape House New Testament Church is situated in East Legon and is committed to glorifying God and transforming lives.
