True love stands by each other’s side on good days and stands closer on bad days, an assurance newly married couples Nana Kwaku Mensah Kaninja and Xandy Kamel have vowed to stand by till the end of their lives.
Speaking in an interview with Sammy Kay on the Go online show, Kaninja revealed that the secret behind their decision to keep their marriage ceremony on the low is because of the “pull him down” and “skin pain” behavior of some Ghanaians and since they are now officially married, they are waiting for the critics to throw tantrums.
Mr. Mensah debunked the rumours making rounds that they had wanted a “low cost” wedding hence their decision to marry at this time where there is a restriction on social gathering due to the Covid-19.
An elated Xandy, revealed how she met her husband after an interview she had at Angel T. V. in 2019, and stated that they had a unique ceremony regardless of how people see it.
Explaining her reason for rapping on the day of her wedding, she stated that some people disrespected her by body shaming her, hence she taught it wise to encourage people to feel confident about their bodies whether they are plus size or slim.
